Connecting Discovery to Practice:
Rehabilitation Research for Community Empowerment
23–26 September 2026 • Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay, Batam, Indonesia
For more than two decades, the Indonesian Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association (PERDOSRI) has played a vital role in advancing rehabilitation medicine in Indonesia, striving to improve function, independence, and quality of life for patients. In 2026, this journey reaches an important milestone with the 25th Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT XXV PERDOSRI), marking the Silver Jubilee of the association's dedication to education, research, and professional collaboration.
Held in Batam, Indonesia, from 23-26 September 2026 at the Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay, PIT XXV PERDOSRI will serve as a dynamic platform for special- ists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, residents, general practitioners, researchers, and healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and explore the latest developments in rehabilitation science and clinical practice.
Under the theme "Connecting Discovery to Practice: Rehabilitation Research for Community Empowerment," this meeting highlights the importance of translating scientific discoveries into practical solutions that directly benefit communi- ties. The scientific program will feature plenary lectures, panel discussions, and more than 16 hands-on workshops designed for PM&R specialists, residents, and general practitioners. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in three satellite symposia and interactive Meet the Expert sessions, offering deeper insights into emerging technologies, clinical innovations, and multidisci- plinary rehabilitation approaches.
More than a scientific gathering, this Silver Jubilee meeting celebrates 25 years of dedication and progress in Indonesian rehabilitation medicine while inspiring the next generation of rehabilitation professionals who will continue shaping the future of functional health and disability care.
We warmly welcome participants and partners to Batam to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and build a more inclusive future for rehabilitation medicine and the communities we serve.
